This brand new hotel has the most beautiful views of the fortress. The host was absolutely charming and the food was delicious- more than we could eat! I forgot to take more food pics but we had Bhutanese, Indian and Chinese dishes. Views from the room and the restaurant were equally excellent. Beds were comfortable and the decor was very cool. Come see this new hotel and take in the unbelievable scenery.

This hotel is spectacular, from the moment you arrive the staff is there to greet you with a smile. It is immaculately clean and the wood & tile work are gorgeous. My room has the most amazing view of the fortress and the river. The owner supports the community and hires locals, especially women. A bonus, staying up high away from town gives you distance from the barking dogs in town. I would highly recommend a visit to Namsay Phodrang.
